Anything I can do for ankylosing spondylitis?
I do think physical therapy is appropriate and very helpful for ankylosing spondylitis but this should be managed with a Rheumatologist. READ MORE

Can you get rheumatoid arthritis in the upper spine?
Rheumatoid arthritis can only affect cervical vertebrae 1 and 2 no other vetebrae area. There are other forms of arthritis that can affect this area like degenerative disease with scoliosis psoriatic arthritis ankylosing spondyltiits disc disease so would discuss with primary and need for spine evaluation or rheumatologist. How can you tell if you are in remission?
Rheumatoid arthritis can go into remission usually on appropriate medications and your rheumatology provider can determine this by assessing your history exam and blood work. There are some scores like a RAPID 3 CDAI or DAS score that rheumatologist calculate to make sure you are in remission based on your current symptoms exam and labs. READ MORE
