Dr. Beaver is a retired obstetrician-gynecologist who now serves as a medical examiner for Prince William, Fairfax and Loudoun counties in Virginia.
Throughout his academic career, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wheaton College in 1959, and graduated with his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine in 1963. He then went on to complete his internship at the Ireland Army Health Clinic in 1965, and his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Letterman Army Medical Center in 1968.
Recognized as a Life Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
