About

As a Licensed Professional Counselor,  I consider how you bond with others and how it affects you and your relationships. These bonding styles create patterns in our lives that lead to healthy or unhealthy ways of relating to ourselves and others, creating joy or pain. I use attachment theory to help you understand yourself through a lens of interpersonal neurobiology and somatic psychology to help relieve symptoms of distress and learn new ways of interacting with yourself and others. Specializing in trauma, I use treatment methods such as Brainspotting, EMDR- (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), and principles from Somatic Experiencing to heal the body-mind connection to bring relief from emotional distress caused by disturbing experiences.
