Dr. Wilson is a fellowship-trained trauma/acute care surgeon at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, where she serves as Assistant Simulation Director of the General Surgery Residency Program. She provides quality surgical service for gravely ill or injured patients and is able to respond quickly due to knowledge of various surgical procedures.

Among her academic appointments, she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at both the University of South Florida and Nova Southeastern University.

Back in the early days of her academic career, Dr. Wilson graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology fromBrigham Young University in 2011. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016. 

Furthering her training, she performed her residency in surgery with HonorHealth, where she served as chief resident from 2020 until 2021, followed by her fellowship in surgical critical care at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in 2022.

Board-certified in general surgery, Dr. Wilson is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). The AOBS is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the use of surgery to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Continuously advancing her efforts, Dr. Wilson is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
