Among her academic appointments, she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at both the University of South Florida and Nova Southeastern University.
Back in the early days of her academic career, Dr. Wilson graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology fromBrigham Young University in 2011. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016.
Furthering her training, she performed her residency in surgery with HonorHealth, where she served as chief resident from 2020 until 2021, followed by her fellowship in surgical critical care at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in 2022.
Board-certified in general surgery, Dr. Wilson is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS).
