Dr. Meghan Lechuga is a neuropsychologist practicing in Littleton and Boulder, CO. With a strong background in clinical neuropsychology and a commitment to providing comprehensive care, Dr. Lechuga is dedicated to serving adult and older adult patients in the Denver Metro Area and Boulder, Colorado.
At Horizon Neuropsychological Services, Dr. Lechuga focuses on diagnosing and guiding treatment for a variety of conditions affecting cognitive function, including neurodevelopmental disorders, neurocognitive disorders, psychiatric conditions, and identity challenges. Her clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of neurological conditions, such as dementia, movement disorders, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, stroke, brain cancer, and autoimmune disorders. Additionally, she is adept at working with patients facing functional challenges related to ADHD, learning disabilities, mood disorders, and complex medical conditions.
Dr. Lechuga earned her Doctor of Psychology Degree with a concentration in Neuropsychology from William James College in 2020. She honed her skills during her pre-doctoral internship at Staten Island University Hospital and completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, attributing her success to the invaluable mentorship and support she received throughout her training.
Dr. Lechuga’s approach to patient care emphasizes understanding the underlying causes of cognitive changes. She is committed to providing individualized recommendations tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Furthermore, she aims to educate adults about the normal cognitive changes that occur across the lifespan and promote strategies for maintaining brain health as they age.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Lechuga enjoys an active lifestyle, spending time camping, hiking, biking, and skiing with her family. She also finds joy in reading, experimenting with new recipes, dancing, and keeping up with her energetic toddlers at the playground.
