Get to know Audiologist Dr. Taylor Woznak, who serves patients throughout the State of Colorado.

An exceptional audiologist, Dr. Woznak works at Hearing HealthCare Centers with offices throughout the state of Colorado.

Her passion comes from being able to educate others about audiology and how it can benefit patients. She states, “Audiology is such a unique part of healthcare but often is underserved.”

At Hearing HealthCare Centers, Dr. Woznak and the team of audiologists have many years of experience working with advanced evaluation techniques for hearing loss, understanding speech in the presence of background noise and tinnitus, as well as auditory rehabilitation and verification of medically based hearing aid fittings. They have been certified in MoCA, the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, which is a standardized screening tool for early detection of mild cognitive impairment.

Having always had an interest in helping people, Dr. Woznak initially thought of becoming a nurse, but the program was not offered at her university. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from State University of New York at Cortland and then pursued a major called Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

After obtaining her Doctor of Audiology Degree, Dr. Woznak became an audiologist and has been passionate about treating hearing loss ever since.

Audiology is a branch of science that studies hearing, balance, and related disorders. Audiologists treat those with hearing loss and proactively prevent related damage. By employing various testing strategies, they aim to determine whether someone has normal sensitivity to sounds. As an audiologist, Dr. Fernandez-Roque takes part in services such as prescribing and fitting hearing aids, recommending assistive listening devices, and providing aural rehabilitation.

In her spare time, one can find Dr. Woznak playing recreational league ice hockey with her husband, Nathan or hiking through the mountains with her mini–Australian Shepard, Chip.
