Get to know Dentist Dr. Yen V. Le, who serves patients in Annandale, Virginia.

A trusted dentist, Dr. Le welcomes patients at his private practice in Annandale, Virginia. He has a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry and always strives to accomplish the best results for his patients.

Practicing dentistry since 2003, he previously served as an Adjunct Clinical Professor, along with his two siblings at the Medical College of Virginia, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Prior to that, he had the privilege of working as a hygienist for five years; but he knew his passion was to change people’s lives and make a difference in their smile. His brother, Quan Le, was the first dentist in his family and he wanted to follow his footsteps. He worked at several offices as a hygienist, then as an associate under his older brother and other dentists in northern Virginia.

Furthermore, Dr. Le has undergone extensive training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He enjoys taking up additional hands-on training courses in implant placement at the Zimmer Institute, full-mouth restoration at the Las Vegas Institute (LVI), Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique (PST) at Alhambra Dental Group, and Oral and IV sedation at The New York State Education Department of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

On a professional level, he is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the American General Dentistry, and the Northern VA Dental Association. He is also a committed and active volunteer for Operation Smile and has traveled to Vietnam on a few occasions, providing free dentistry to an orphanage and underprivileged children in Vietnam.

For the past few years, Dr. Le has been a major supporter and volunteer for Hope for Tomorrow (HOPE), which is dedicated to providing health-care, human services, and educational assistance to underprivileged communities. Together with his brother, they have helped raise over $140,000 at one event, all through the generous donations of local dentists.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries, create beautiful smiles, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Aside from volunteering and spending time with his family, Dr. Le enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle, working out, and traveling.
