Get to know Pharmacist Dr. Devan Patel, who serves patients in Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Patel is a versatile entrepreneur with more than 20 years of pharmaceutical and medical experience in various healthcare sectors. He is the Founder and President of MedizenX, a boutique medical and pharmacy solutions firm, as well as the Co-Founder and CEO of ZenNutrients, an industry leader in Condition Targeted Nutraceuticals (unique dietary supplements targeted at particular medical conditions).

Among his responsibilities in the positions, he oversees new product development, leads teams of employees, and handles all budgeting and operational duties. He develops the vitamins and other nutritional products that Zen Nutrients sells, including WoundVite, Onco-V, Neurazenx, and PodiVite, from his base in Tampa. Driven by providing positive change to the pharmacy and medical industry, his fearless and gifted medical entrepreneurship has helped various pharmacies and medical practices achieve cost positive gains, while decreasing healthcare costs.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Patel holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Florida A&M University, where he made the dean’s list and graduated magna cum laude. He is a past Schering Plough Scholar, winner of the Pfizer Outstanding Leadership Award, Fellow of the American College of Apothecaries, Adjunct Clinical Pharmacy Professor at Florida A&M University, and active in various healthcare organizations. He also enjoys serving as a Board Member for the IAFTB.org, a 501(3)c foundation in Tampa that helps children’s organizations with fundraising, medical needs, and promoting positive culture awareness.
