The decision to establish Rushforth Family Care in 2023 stemmed from Dr. Rushforth’s desire to serve the people of Cullman and its neighboring areas. His goal is to create a welcoming environment where families can receive personalized healthcare tailored to their unique needs.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rushforth has a background in research, having studied Type 1 Diabetes and ABO blood type prevalence as an undergraduate. During medical school, he collaborated with peers on a study regarding hyperhidrosis, which was presented at the International Investigative Dermatology Conference in 2018.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Rushforth enjoys traveling and outdoor adventures with his wife and children. The family cherishes their trips to destinations like Disney World and Dollywood. Dr. Rushforth also stays active by training for half marathons and finds joy in singing and playing video games as ways to unwind.
