Get to know Dentist Dr. Taksh Shah, who serves patients in Pennsylvania.

Recognized as a caring and compassionate dentist, Dr. Shah is affiliated with Lehighton Family Dentistry. His passion for improving the well-being of his patients is evident in the care and attention he provides. He strives to create a warm and welcoming environment where his patients can feel comfortable discussing their dental needs and fears.

Pertaining to his educational pursuits, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from Gujarat University in India, and his Master of Public Health degree from City University of New York (CUNY). He earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree in 2013, graduating with honors from the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry.

With advanced training in dental implantology, Dr. Shah is a certified Implantologist and is currently a member of both the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

On a more personal note, Dr. Shah is an active food and travel reviewer on social media. He enjoys exploring new cuisines and traveling to new destinations.
