Dr. Kellvan Cheng is a podiatrist/foot & ankle surgeon practicing in Carrollton, TX serving the communities of the Dallas Metroplex and the surrounding areas of North Texas.  Dr. Cheng is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery and is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and in Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery.  He is also a Fellow of both the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons.  Upon receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Dr. Cheng completed a one-year podiatric internship in New York City followed by a three-year reconstructive foot & ankle surgical residency in Los Angeles.  Dr. Cheng's training encompassed all aspects of trauma and reconstructive surgery of the forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle as well as sports medicine, diabetic limb salvage, and wound care.  He continues to attend actively and participate in surgical training courses offered all around the country as part of his ongoing efforts to update on the latest skills, knowledge, and technology.  Dr. Cheng will always approach treatment in a conservative manner until it is either exhausted or when surgery is determined to be the best viable option. New technologies will always be introduced and implemented as part of his practice. He is a dedicated doctor whose philosophy to patient care is "patients are family" and healing begins with compassion and communication. Only then will the patient and doctor be partners on the road to ambulatory wellness.
