Born and raised in Atlanta, Dr. Haque attended Woodward Academy. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Health Sciences at the American International College of Arts and Science in 2008 and his Medical Degree at the American University of Integrative Sciences in 2013.
Furthering his training, Dr. Haque performed his residency in psychiatry at the University of Missouri and specialized in child and adolescent psychiatry with a fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis in 2022.
Having been involved in TMS research, Dr. Haque has studied the effects of TMS on major depressive disorder in adults. He has concentrated expertise and is published in the realms of psychiatric treatment in medically ill children, neuromodulation, depression, autism, and medical education.
Holding dual roles, Dr. Haque serves as a Staff Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Skyland Trail Residential Treatment Center and as an Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at Emory University School of Medicine, both since 2023.
Previously, he held several positions, including Chief Operating and Financial Officer at 5 Dollar Flip Flops from 2012 to 2015. Following this, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Centerpointe Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri from 2015 to 2017.
Transitioning into the field of psychiatry, Dr. Haque served as a Pediatric Consult Psychiatrist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta from 2022 to 2023 and later as a Pediatric and Adult Psychiatrist at Foresight Mental Health during the same period.
