Hello! My name is Kelechi Okwaraji, and I'm a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner here in Los Angeles, CA. With years of experience in the field, I focus on building strong, supportive relationships with my patients and their families.

I’m passionate about mental health and strive to help my patients overcome daily challenges. My approach combines empathy, effective communication, and evidence-based treatments to guide individuals toward better mental health. I work with all age groups—from children to seniors—and provide care that is inclusive of diverse communities, including LGBTQI and those struggling with substance use.

As a healthcare provider, I am skilled in various therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. I’m also adept at managing complex treatment plans and staying up-to-date with the latest medical protocols. Whether it's a routine check or an initial evaluation, I am here to offer my expertise every step of the way.

My goal is to support you in taking the time to truly understand yourself, your strengths, and your challenges so that you can make informed decisions about the direction of your life. I’m not interested in throwing a bunch of pills at you and calling it a day, but I want to help you understand what’s going on with your body and mind so that we can come up with some strategies that work for you. I want to help my patients find a way of being in a world based on self-compassion and kindness.
