Scholastically, Dr. Ali earned his Medical Degree from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine in 2006 and completed his residency at Shaheed Aso Teaching Hospital. Following several years of neurosurgical practice in the Middle East, he advanced his training with a fellowship at New York University. He is board certified in neurosurgery by the Iraqi Board for Medical Specializations and is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.

Since 2024, Dr. Ali has also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, where he is passionately involved in educating the next generation of healthcare professionals.
