Throughout her academic career, Dr. Nad received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2019, graduating with honors in Aesthetic Dentistry and inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She then continued her postdoctoral training in periodontics & implant surgery at the said establishment and graduated with an award in Outstanding Clinical Excellence.
During her training, she was involved in research on optimal sinus augmentation considerations as they relate to implant surgery. She was also invited to present her research to colleagues from various periodontal programs on the east coast.
Among her professional dental affiliations, she is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the New York County Dental Society, the International Team for Implantology, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the Northeastern Society of Periodontists.
Moreover, she holds a certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association.
As a way to give back to the community, Dr. Nad has traveled globally to treat dental diseases in underserved populations in Kathmandu, Nepal and locally in Plattsburgh, New York.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, bike riding, practicing yoga and traveling. She speaks several languages, including English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
