The Eisenhower Bernice Cohen Infusion Center and Infectious Disease Clinic serves the needs of the desert in both acute and chronic infectious disease processes. With an onsite Infusion Center, patients can receive intravenous (IV) therapy required for their diagnosis seven days a week while maintaining continuity of care with demonstrated positive clinical outcomes.
After earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in 1990, Dr. Dezfuli decided to further his training. He served his residency at Los Angeles County Hospital + University of Southern California Medical Center (LAC+USC), where he also completed a fellowship in infectious disease.
Subsequently, he practiced emergency ambulatory medicine at LAC+USC before working in primary care. From 2002 until 2004, he held the position of Section Chief of Infectious Disease at Eisenhower Health.
Devoted to his profession, Dr. Dezfuli is board-certified in infectious disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Among the doctor’s professional affiliations, he is a member of the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of General Physicians, and the American College of Physicians.
