Pertaining to his educational background, Dr. Kisner graduated with his medical degree from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in Africa in 1967. He then relocated to the United States, completing a dual residency in both plastic surgery & general surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
Holding over five decades of experience, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS), and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
In addition, he is a member of a number of reputable professional organizations, including the Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Nassau County Medical Society, the New York Regional Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Suffolk County Medical Society, the American Cleft Lip and Palate Society, the Aesthetic Society of America, and the South African Plastic Surgery Society (honorary member).
A well-respected member of the medical community, Dr. Kisner’s unique artistic vision and advanced clinical skills allow patients to achieve beautiful, natural-looking results.
