Dr. Perry is an osteopathic physician specializing in emergency medicine, pilot in the US Navy, and flight surgeon.
Working at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, he is a voting representative to the Naval Hospital Quality Improvement subcommittee. He is also a founding member of the Informatics Steering committee charged with the transition to an updated enterprise-wide electronic health record.

He then went on to earn his Master of Science degree in Psychology from Walden University in 2006, and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012.
Furthering his training, he performed his internship and residency in emergency medicine at Naval Medical Center (Portsmouth) in 2013 and 2019, respectively.
As a testament to his success, the doctor is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified doctors who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of acutely ill patients with advanced cardiac life support, trauma, and the management of other life-threatening medical issues (emergency physicians).
Holding academic titles, Dr. Perry serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Uniformed Services University, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine.
