In regards to his educational background, Dr. Grossman earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, magna cum laude, from New York University, where he also received a presidential scholarship. He achieved his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was a service and research scholar, and earned the Dean’s Recognition Award.

Thereafter, he completed his residency in pediatrics, as well as his fellowship in allergy & immunology at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. During his time there, he was inducted to the Davidoff Society for Outstanding Teaching of Medical Students.

A Diplomate of both the American Board of Allergy and Immunology & the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Grossman is an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the New York Allergy Society.

Prior to joining Westmed Medical Group, he worked as an allergist and immunologist at NY Allergy & Sinus Centers.

Allergy and immunology is the area of medicine dedicated to the care and treatment of health concerns and conditions of the immune system, including allergic disease and related symptoms and reactions — from asthma, rhinitis, sinus problems, or seasonal allergies to life-threatening reactions to drugs, food, vaccines, and more.
