    That would depends entirely on the specifics surrounding the nerve. If the nerve is being impinged upon by soft or connective tissue that has inflamed, then yes, acupuncture is a tremendous help. If the nerve is being impinged upon by solid structure, for example a bone, a calcification, a cyst or tumor, or it is actually damaged then acupuncture is not the go to first.
