A prominent emergency physician, Dr. Coba is currently affiliated with Henry Ford Health, serving as the Cardiac Surgery ICU Medical Director and HFH ECMO Medical Director. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, further highlighting his impressive range of skills and expertise, and his commitment to mentoring and guiding the next generation of medical professionals.

Before embarking on his professional journey, he received his medical degree from the esteemed Loma Linda University School of Medicine, before going on to complete his residency in emergency medicine at Ascension St. John Hospital, and his multidisciplinary surgical critical care fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP), the doctor is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM is one of 24 medical specialty certification boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Throughout his career, Dr. Coba has contributed significantly to medical research, particularly in the areas of ultrasound, critical care, sepsis, and cardiac arrest. His work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed articles, highlighting his commitment to advancing the medical field’s knowledge and understanding of these crucial topics. Additionally, he has co-authored two ultrasound books, which are now available in four different languages, making his knowledge and expertise accessible to a wider audience.
