As a Medical Technologist, Christopher's work helps the clinical team make decisions about the necessary requirements needed for safe transfusions. Christopher performs antibody identifications to determine any alloimmunization to provide the safest product for patient's transfusion needs, ABO/RH determinations required for the crossmatching of blood for cancer patients, trauma victims and neonates.
Christopher beleives that Medical Technologists play vital roles for the assessment of the patient's condition allowing the Doctors and Nurses to provide the quality of care needed for the patients ailments.
Christopher has been working in Laboratory and Transfusion Medicine for more than 40 years, both in Florida and in Maine.
