Get to know Nuclear Medicine Physician and CT Technologist Dr. Chuck P. Jiardina, who serves patients throughout the State of Illinois.

Dr. Jiardina is a nuclear medicine physician and CT technologist who is trained and certified to provide such procedures as Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Computed Tomography (CT), and more. He has been a CPR Instructor Trainer since 2001, running Illinois CPR Pros, LLC.

Illinois CPR Pros, LLC is a network of instructors who teach onsite CPR, AED, ACLS, and First Aid for a variety of professionals across the Midwest. 

Graduating with his high school diploma from Lanphier High School, Dr. Jiardina went on to complete his Associate of Science degree at Lincoln Land Community College. He then earned his Certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology from the University of Findlay, after which he received his Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of St. Francis

A driven individual in the medical field, Dr. Jiardina remains a distinguished member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, Pacific Northwest Chapter, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and the American Heart Association. In addition, he gives lectures about his modalities at local events.

Nuclear medicine is a medical specialty involving the application of radioactive substances in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Nuclear medicine physicians are medical specialists who use tracers, usually radiopharmaceuticals, for diagnosis and therapy. Nuclear medicine procedures are the major clinical applications of molecular imaging and molecular therapy.

Since 2017, Dr. Jiardina has been the Assistant Cubmaster with Boy Scouts of America – Northeast Illinois Council (an organization he has been with since January of 2008).
