About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor in Arkansas, with over 28 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. I believe each person is unique and an expert in their own life. I provide an objective, respectful, compassionate view to assist a person in areas that may hinder them from being the best version of themselves. I work with each person to establish their life goals and a path to accomplish them. My approach is to assist a person in finding the root cause of their symptoms, not just skills to cope with them. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR as tools to assist us along the way. Although I work with a variety of concerns, my passion is assisting people through trauma. My definition of trauma is anything that causes you to feel "stuck" and prevents you from living your life joyfully.
