About

Meet Dr. Samantha L. Allen, a compassionate dentist who is deeply committed to the dental well-being of her fellow Mississippians. Hailing from Mississippi herself, Dr. Allen is particularly concerned about dental health in under-served areas, and she is excited to extend her warm and welcoming dental care to the people of Sardis. One of Dr. Allen's unique qualities is her personal understanding of dental anxiety, as she too struggled with it for a significant part of her life. She is acutely aware that around 36% of Americans experience anxiety when facing dental treatment. Drawing from her own experiences, Dr. Allen has made it her mission to create a comfortable environment where patients can feel at ease in the dental chair.

Get to know Dentist Dr. Samantha L. Allen, who serves patients in Sardis, Mississippi.

A Mississippi native, Dr. Allen cares about the condition of dental health in the Magnolia state, specifically in areas with under-served populations. She looks forward to providing the citizens of Sardis with a warm and welcoming visit at Sardis Family Dental Care, LLC.

With its small-town feel and dedicated staff, Sardis Family Dental Care, LLC offers a  comprehensive list of services that allows patients to begin their dental journey at any stage. Whether a patient is looking to teach their children the importance of healthy dental habits or working to revitalize their own dental goals, the dental clinic vows to give the personalized attention that each individual deserves.

“Everyone deserves a chance to feel confident about their smile. I just wanted to play a small part in making a difference in how people greet the world” expressed Dr. Allen.

Her experience in the dental world began in 2008, when she became a dental assistant on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. From there, she went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she chose to focus on those dealing with dental phobia, a condition she too experiences.

About 36% of people in the U.S. have some sort of anxiety when facing dental treatment, and by providing sensitive care, Dr. Allen hopes to help the people of Sardis overcome this statistic. She remains dedicated to creating a comfortable environment designed to address patients’ specific needs and leave everyone feeling at ease in the dental chair.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

On a more personal note, Dr. Allen speaks both English and Spanish.
