Professionally, she has served as a travel nurse at NYP Queens (December 2021 – August 2022), and as a registered nurse at Mount Sinai West (February 2014 – November 2021).
A Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) holds board certification and provides primary health care services to women of all ages, generally beginning at adolescence and continuing through pregnancy and menopause.
Among her volunteer efforts, Kathia is a mentor of the Mentee Program for Nursing 1 Students, a volunteer at Midnight Run Sponsored by CNR Campus Ministry, and a member of the Nurse Advocacy Forum. She is also a member of the National Student Nurses’ Association.
