About

Clara Sartor is a licensed acupuncturist and licensed doctor of naturopathic medicine practicing in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Sartor evaluates and treats patients based on the concepts of oriental, naturopathic, and integrative medicine. Like other practitioners, acupuncturists and naturopathic physicians complete their evaluations by getting a patient history and doing a thorough physical exam and evaluation. Often, very fine acupuncture needles are inserted into specific points on the body. Stimulating these points and energy channels is how acupuncture can help treat patient conditions.  Dr. Sartor treats the patients condition using many treatment modalities including acupuncture, botanical medicine, supplements, pharmaceuticals, dietary intervention, lifestyle recommendations, physical medicine, and homeopathy.  All of these are considered in creating a personalized, individualized treatment plan tailored for each client.  Some common conditions she treates includes chronic fatigue, pain, anxiety or mental/emotional distress, gastrointestinal issues, headaches, menstrual irregularites, and fertility support.

For private consults for acupuncture or naturopathic visits, feel free to contact me directly at (571) 758-3268.

  • How can I treat chronic fatigue?

Hello! Chronic fatigue is hard to treat without knowing the root cause. For example, if it's due to something like a viral infection like EBV/mono, then treating the virus is important for treating the fatigue. If it's due to poor sleep, then optimizing that is our goal. It can be due to multiple factors such as stress or nutrient deficiency, etc. I would recommend seeing a provider regarding your concern, but for at home ideas, meditation and qi gong can help cultivate qi and bring up energy as well as ensuring you are receiving adequate REM sleep (practice good sleep hygiene), hydration (good water intake), and nutrients (diet and supplements).
