Hailing from Oradell, New Jersey, Dr. Boland graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University. She then went onto Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with high honors and a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). She did her General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center, furthering her experience with more advanced dental cases.
Professionally, Dr. Boland has leadership experience in the American Association of Women Dentists and the American Student Dental Association. She has also volunteered in the Indian Health Services, providing dental treatment for members of the Lakota Sioux Native American Tribe at the Pine Ridge Hospital Dental Clinic, and has spent time in an externship providing dental services for underserved communities.

On a more personal note, Dr. Boland is married to her middle school sweetheart. She spends her free time with her family and friends and enjoys exercising, hiking, and exploring new places.
