Board-certified in child & adolescent psychiatry, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
From an early age, Dr. Sathpathy’s parents encouraged his curiosity and inquisitiveness in humanity. This attracted him to the profession of psychiatry, which gave him the opportunity to make a positive impact on individuals.
In practice since 2003, Dr. Sathpathy was the Chief of Staff & Clinical Director of Child In-Patient Services at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital, before going into private practice.
Continuously advancing his efforts, he is an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Psychiatric Association, and the San Diego Psychiatric Society.
