Dr. Brown-Lieberson works with children (4 years old and up), adolescents, and adults, and utilizes evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Habit Replacement Training (HRT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques to create an individualized plan to treat the whole person.
Dr. Brown-Lieberson is a Licensed Psychologist and anxiety and OCD specialist who has experience successfully treating Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and various OCD presentations, perfectionism, Social Anxiety Disorder, fears/phobias, Separation Anxiety, Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (Trichotillomania/hair pulling, skin picking, nail biting, cheek/lip biting), Tourette’s Disorder and tics, depression, adjustment disorders, and various traumas, and providing psychotherapy to help with chronic health conditions, gastrointestinal disorders (such as IBS and Crohn's), LGBTQIA+ health, and women's health.
LGBTQIA+ Health: Dr. Brown-Lieberson strives to provide a safe and empathetic space for the LGBTQIA+ community. She has successfully helped clients of various sexual orientations and genders navigate stressors and difficulties, as well as helped provide education for families and helped families navigate care for their LGBTQIA+ child.
As someone who has past training in Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine, Dr. Brown-Lieberson helps clients navigate the healthcare system, while providing tools and skills to help those with chronic health conditions.
