Get to know Dentist Dr. Pierangelo Ghisalberti, who serves patients in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Dr. Ghisalberti is a dedicated dentist working alongside Drs. Luciano and Giancarlo Ghisalberti at Ghisalberti Dental, located in North Bergen, New Jersey.

He began his academic journey at Don Bosco Preparatory High School from 2009 to 2013. Subsequently, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. During his time there, he actively participated in various organizations, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence and community involvement. Notably, he was a member of the Beta Beta Beta Honor Society, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the Fairleigh Dickinson Honors Program, while also contributing to LSAMP, Pre-Health Professionals, and Operation Smile, where he held roles as Parliamentarian and President. Additionally, he was involved in the Gala Committee and the Green Team.

In 2023, Dr. Ghisalberti earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College, crediting his achievements to the unwavering support of his family, hard work, unwavering dedication, and a foundation of strong core values. 

Upon graduation, Dr. Ghisalberti received the 2023 AGD Senior Student Dental Award, which is awarded to a senior student who is selected for having the greatest interest, knowledge, and proficiency in the field of general dentistry during their senior year.

His dedication to the field is further exemplified by his active membership in prestigious dental organizations, such as the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, New Jersey Dental Association, and Hudson County Dental Association.

Dr. Ghisalberti was chosen to be an Irwin Smigel Scholar by The American Society of Dental Aesthetics. He was recognized and rewarded for his passion for aesthetic dentistry. The ASDA’s goal is to facilitate and exchange the best techniques in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
