Get to know Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Tracy Moore, who serves patients in Colonial Heights, Virginia.

Tracy is the CEO of Moor Integrated Services, a progressive agency in Colonial Heights, Virginia that provides psychotherapy, coaching, and business consultations. As a licensed clinical social worker, she specializes in addressing trauma, crisis, executive function disorders, addictions, mood disorders, and life transitions, offering support for a wide range of presenting issues and symptoms. 

Her guiding philosophy revolves around collaborating with each client to help them attain their desired objectives in a serene, secure, and positive environment. Tracy recognizes the importance of addressing underlying issues that often influence our emotions and behaviors. To achieve this, she employs a comprehensive approach, utilizing a combination of attachment based psychotherapy, positive psychology, solution focused brief therapy, somatic techniques, trauma-informed therapy, brain-based interventions, expressive arts interventions, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy to identify and address these underlying concerns effectively. 

“I work in an integrative way that empowers and supports adaptive coping skills that see individuals as not only capable of surviving but thriving through celebrating resilience and self compassion and empathy for self and others” expresses Tracy. 

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Services from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Social Work degree from Norfolk State University.

On a professional level, Tracy is an active member of the National Association of Black Counselors and serves on the Carroll County Board of Supervisors – Pine Creek District. 

Social work is an academic discipline and profession that concerns itself with individuals, families, groups, and communities in an effort to enhance social functioning and overall well-being. A licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) works with patients in order to help them deal with issues involving mental and emotional health. There are a wide variety of specializations the LCSW can focus on, including mental health issues, substance abuse, public health, school social work, medical social work, marriage counseling or children and family therapy.  

Regarding her personal interests, Tracy enjoys kickboxing, yoga, meditation, drawing and crocheting in her leisure time. Anything Caribbean stands out as her preferred vacation destination.
