Dr. Adaobi Obasi received her medical degree (MD) and her doctorate (PhD) in Microbiology and Immunology as part of a joint MD PhD program from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. She was also inducted as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors society. Dr. Obasi also completed her residency in dermatology and her fellowship training in dermatopathology at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She is board-certified and a diplomate in dermatology and dermatopathology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). As a dermatologist and dermatopathologist, Dr. Obasi speciality interests include skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, women’s health, early childhood dermatology education, cosmetic dermatology, ethnic skin dermatology (including pigmentary disorders), inflammatory skin conditions (including eczema/atopic dermatitis and psoriasis), cutaneous immunology (including connective tissue diseases like lupus and blistering diseases), as well as disorders of the external genitalia. 

Dr Adaobi Obasi has a passion for education which she believes empowers patients and the community to make autonomous healthy decisions and form good habits to enable them enjoy healthy beautiful skin throughout their lives. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, given many lectures on her research in immunology, as well as specialty in dermatology and dermatopathology in local, regional, national and international meetings.
