  • Is acupuncture effective in treating chronic pain?

Acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine is very effective at treating chronic pain. The CDC and WHO recommend acupuncture for pain management in their pain management guidelines, and it has been well studied and confirmed as effective for most chronic pain. Neck pain in specific does respond well to acupuncture, with reduced pain scores and increased range of motion happening after every treatment. How long the relief lasts depends on what happened to start the injury, how long its been present, and other symptoms and signs of disease or disorder in the body. The herbal formulas help address underlying issues and improve circulation as well. Sincerely, D. Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is a technique in which thin needles are inserted into the body and in some cases, electro-stimulation is applied to gently stimulate particular regions of the body. Acupuncture is also used to maintain general health and well-being. Acupuncturists treat a variety of physical and psychological issues, such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, pain, digestive disorders, and infertility.

On a more personal note, Glenn and his wife, Genevieve, are the proud parents of six wonderful children, accompanied by the presence of a large and friendly family dog.
