He further honed expertise through completing a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Edwin Williams, former president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and an influential member of the field.

As a member of prestigious organizations such as the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Medical Association, he remains at the forefront of advancements in the field. His dedication and contributions have been recognized with various awards and accolades, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery CORE Resident Research Award and the University of Michigan Paparella Research Award.

Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human face and neck.
