Dr. Sonia Nguyen-Ring, a native of Florida and a graduate of UCF, has seen the transformation of old Oviedo. Commencing her doctoral studies at Nova Southeastern University in 2008, she successfully completed an extensive residency as the chief resident at Orlando VA, where she focused on advanced emergency care, functional prosthodontics, and oral pathology. Following a four-year tenure in Fort Bragg, NC, Dr. Ring returned to Orlando, where she continues to actively engage with the military community. She has always been a lifelong advocate and a proud supporter of wounded war veterans.

With a wealth of experience spanning 15 years and having treated tens of thousands of complex cases, Dr. Ring is highly sought after for her specialized knowledge and clinical expertise. She finds fulfillment in all aspects of dentistry, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, as well as the meticulous procedures involved in surgeries and cosmetic dentistry. When she is not juggling the responsibilities of being a superwoman and taking care of her four children at home, she dedicates her time to lecturing at local symposiums for her colleagues and providing valuable mentorship to aspiring doctors from the UCF School of Medicine.
