Dr. Fairchild stands at the forefront of Houston’s plastic surgery community. Specializing in surgical procedures for the breasts and body, she has honed her skills in breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, liposuction, and tummy tuck surgery. Before embarking on his professional journey, she was influenced early on, growing up amidst her father’s surgical training in various locations across the U.S. A graduate with honors from the Medical College of Wisconsin, she furthered her education with a residency in General Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. As she trained at one of the busiest Level I trauma centers in the country, her interest in reconstructive surgery deepened, leading her to pursue a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

An expert in her field, Dr. Fairchild is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

During her training, she served as a research resident at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, collaborating with Dr. Mark Clemens on critical research regarding breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL). Her contributions also include publications on topics such as autologous breast reconstruction and smooth surface tissue expanders.
