Get to know Family Physician Dr. Elizabeth Ann G. Nguyen, who serves patients in Phoenix, Arizona.

A devoted family physician, Dr. Nguyen sees patients at HonorHealth Medical Group – Cave Creek – Primary Care in Phoenix, Arizona. Her areas of clinical interest include women’s health, depression, anxiety and obesity medicine. She also offers osteopathic manipulation for her patients.

Hailing from Tucson, she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University, and completed her residency in family medicine with Abrazo Family Medicine Residency in Phoenix, AZ.

With an unwavering commitment to her specialty, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.  She also spends her time creating patient educational content and distributes this through her Instagram page (@the.nguyening.doc) to fight against medical misinformation.  

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.

In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys running half marathons, hiking various natural trails, reviewing different restaurants in the valley, experimenting with cooking and creating amigurumi plushies by crocheting. 

She truly is dedicated to providing the best care for her patients and strives to provide the attention the patient needs to optimize their overall health.
