    Hello, The problem with insomnia is that many different things can cause or contribute to it. I like to get to the root of the issues. ie: life stressors, chronic pain, nightmares, stimulates (soda, coffee, alcohol) .I have patients that have insomnia because they hate their jobs and feel as soon as they go to sleep, they have to go back. Dawn Anfuso Baroni is a leader in respiratory therapy with extensive training in sleep medicine and clinical care.  With over 10 years of sleep apnea management experience, her exceptional skills and dedication have solidified her reputation as a trusted CPAP Coordinator and Respiratory Therapist with the VA Medical Center-San Diego, where she has served since January 2013.

Dawn earned her degrees at the top of her class from Pima Medical Institute and California College San Diego. With more than a decade of experience, Dawn excels in patient care, sleep apnea education and clinical coordination, for the VA San Diego sleep medicine service.  Her responsibilities include patient care, evaluation of non-invasive positive  pressure machines, mask fitting and, provides classroom style education  of the dangers of untreated sleep apnea, for newly diagnosed patients.

Dawn’s commitment to our veterans is commendable and deserves notice. She receives continuous praise and acolytes from her patients and, the other health care providers she assists daily. 

Dawn's professional affiliations are certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care, including active membership in the California Society of Respiratory Care and the American Association for Respiratory Care.
