  • What helps with gingivitis?

Gingivitis, inflammation of the gums, could be caused by a lot of factors. The most common local cause is due to bacterial colonization of food debris (plaque) resting on the gums and teeth. This causes irritation with painful and sometimes bleeding gums. This can be easily treated by brushing your teeth with toothpaste and flossing in between your teeth at least twice daily. If gingivitis does not resolve, schedule an appointment with your dentist for further exam to determine other causative factors. *Vibrant Dentistry | Matthews, NC* vibrantdentistrync.com T: 704.771.1544 F: 704.771.1333 *CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE:* This e-mail, including any attachments, may contain confidential information which is intended only for the use of the individual(s) or entitled named.
