Award-Winning Dentist Sets New Standards of Excellence in Dental Care

Dr. Khan, in practice at Advantage Dental Group, has quickly emerged as a prominent figure in the field of dentistry. With a strong educational background and a passion for providing exceptional care to his patients, he has become a shining example of excellence in the dental profession.

Born and raised in East Lyme, he laid the foundation for his successful career at the University of Connecticut, where he completed his undergraduate studies. His journey continued as he pursued his dental education at the esteemed University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, culminating in his graduation in 2021.

Driven by a commitment to continuous growth and development, Dr. Khan further honed his skills through a comprehensive general practice residency at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

During his residency, he garnered invaluable experience in managing medically complex patients, mastering a diverse array of dental surgeries, esthetic cases, special care, and operating room procedures. His dedication and expertise were recognized with the prestigious Resident of the Year award, a testament to his outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment to excellence in patient care.

With a keen interest in surgical and digital dentistry, Dr. Khan remains at the forefront of the latest advancements in the field. Committed to staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies, he actively engages in Continuing Education (CE) courses to ensure that his patients receive the highest standard of care available.

Deeply involved in his community, he generously shares his time and expertise as a coach for the boys crew team at the East Lyme Rowing Association. An avid photographer and explorer, he finds joy in capturing moments through his lens, traveling to new destinations, hiking in nature, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
