Dr. Meleeka Clary is a highly esteemed mental health expert who has excelled in her role as a clinical psychologist at HMWP Psychology Counseling in Carmel, Indiana since 2020. She is a multi-talented individual, excelling as an actress, director, and writer for companies like Dynasty Inc. and Next Entertainment. Her television credits include appearances on popular series such as “Greenleaf,” “Nashville,” and “The Resident.” In 2018, she wrote, directed, and starred in her own film, “Three Corners of Deception,” a compelling narrative about a college law professor who finds love with an attorney over a Memorial Day weekend in Las Vegas. Dr. Clary's creative endeavors have been recognized with awards at prestigious film festivals like the Toronto International Women Film Festival, Royal Wolf Film Awards, and Dreamz Catcher International Film Festival. She is currently engaged with John Casablancas Centers.
Dr. Clary's academic journey began at Curry College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice in 2000 and a Master of Arts in criminal justice in 2004. Initially drawn to a legal career, she obtained a paralegal certificate from Northeastern University and completed certificates in criminal law, business, and law at Newbury College. Dr. Clary's personal mental health journey inspired her to transition her focus to mental health, leading her to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in clinical psychology from Walden University, which she achieved in 2021.
