About

My name is Sheetal Verma-Bueche, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-BACS). I also have completed my PHD in Human Resource Education and Leadership Development. I work with all age groups, both individual and families, and specialize in various areas using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Self-Compassion to help clients move toward reaching their goals and start feeling better.

My approach to therapy varies based on where the client wants to start. I believe it is important to meet the client where they are and build on the strengths of an individual. It seems important to help someone see actual change and progress, thus building a shared understanding of their reality allows a path forward.

I have found that my style and approach is a good fit for anyone who wants to work through dealing with the challenges or hurdles of life. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress or unhealthy choices. I work to help my clients navigate these hurdles and build skills to develop a positive outlook on your life.

My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable, I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I take pride in being an active listener without judgement. I decided to become a therapist because I have always wanted to help people in any way possible. Whether it means sitting and listening and offering a different perspective on a situation, volunteering in my community, bridging resources or being a trusted and loyal friend, I have always found personal reward in being of service to others. I enjoy seeing people become the best versions of themselves so they can pay it forward.

We work together to overcome the challenges or hurdles of life. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress or unhealthy choices. We will navigate these hurdles and build skills to develop a positive and productive outlook on your life.
