A board-certified internal medicine hospitalist, Dr. Daboul has become a beacon of compassionate care at Montefiore Nyack Hospital and Saint Joseph’s Medical Center. With over a decade of experience in the medical field, Dr. Daboul approaches each patient with the empathy and dedication one would expect from a family member, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Originally hailing from Syria, his life and career have been shaped by extraordinary challenges. His experiences during the Syrian war, where he served in hospitals under dire circumstances, have given him a unique perspective on the importance of compassionate healthcare. “I went from a farm in Syria to the greatest country in the world,” Dr. Daboul reflects. “I will show my thankfulness for the rest of my life by helping others in this great country.” 

With a deep commitment to both patient care and medical education, Dr. Daboul is passionate about mentoring the next generation of physicians. He believes that mentorship is not just about imparting knowledge but also about fostering empathy and responsibility. “I look at teaching as more of a mentorship and go out of my way to be supportive and build them up,” he states. “I know what it’s like to be a resident, and it is really hard.”

His mission is clear: to treat every patient as if they were his own family. “My mission as a doctor is always to do the best for my patients, and I hope to help our residents take on the same mission.”
