Towell Organic Chemistry Award and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1987, while also being listed on the Highly Distinguished Faculty Honors List and receiving the College of Charleston Foundation Scholarship. That same year, she served as President of Phi Kappa Phi. Her achievements continued with the All American Scholar award in 1988 and Alpha Omega Alpha in 1989.
In 1991, Dr. Huber held the role of Secretary/Treasurer and received both the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation and recognition as an Outstanding Young Woman of America. Most recently, she has been included in the Marquis Who's Who in America for 2023.
