Dr. Mafi is a board certified plastic surgeon who is dedicated to enhancing the appearance and self-confidence of his patients. Possessing a background in molecular cell biology, he brings a scientific approach to his surgical practice. Dr. Mafi earned his Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Cell Biology from the prestigious University of California, Berkeley and went on to receive his Medical Degree from Ross University, School of Medicine with Honors.
He completed his internship at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and further developed his surgical skills through a residency in General Surgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He then pursued advanced training through a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center, where he gained comprehensive exposure to all aspects of plastic surgery, including aesthetic cosmetic surgery of the face and body, body contouring, breast surgery, facial rejuvenation, and reconstructive surgery for breast and skin cancer.
As a physician, Dr. Mafi is committed to fostering a trustworthy and honest relationship with his patients, while providing exceptional care. He is a compassionate doctor and surgeon who is always striving to bring the latest and most innovative surgical techniques to his patients. To achieve this goal, he has trained with some of the world’s most renowned surgeons.
In his personal life, Dr. Mafi enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is married to Tiffany and has two children, Elena and Bardia. Whether in the operating room or with his loved ones, Dr. Mafi is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those around him.
