Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Moe graduated with Doctor of Dental surgery (D.D.S) with Perio honors from NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Mohit Modgil, or as we like to call him, Dr. Moe, holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Information Systems Engineering from Stony Brook University. While he was a 4th year student at NYUCD, Dr. Moe pursued a “Mini Residency at Odyssey House” in Harlem, to provide his services in dentistry to the underserved community pro bono for one year.
Dr. Moe completed a 1 year Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital (SBUH) after graduating from NYUCD. At SBUH, Dr. Moe furthered his understanding and knowledge of dentistry by working in the O.R. to provide full mouth rehabilitative services to both Pediatric and Developmentally disabled patients under general anesthesia. Additionally, he pursues many continuing education programs every year to learn and provide dental care with evidence based, newer, better techniques.
Dr. Moe combines his dental knowledge with his engineering background to think long term and in comprehensive fashion when devising treatment plans for his patients. Due to his engineering background, Dr. Moe tries to plan ahead for any complications that may arise by preparing for procedures before he begins his day in office.
Dr. Moe focuses on delivering quality care. Every procedure is explained in detail so you know the rationale behind the treatment. Dr. Moe believes that we are partners with our patients in caring for their dental needs and as such we follow an interactive approach when planning your treatment. We discuss your dental needs and the available treatment options in great detail. Your concerns and opinions will be considered in making a treatment plan and Pros/Cons/Limitations/Complications are all discussed before starting your treatment.
