Little Rock, Arkansas - Akasha Lawrence, a dedicated professional in the pharmaceutical industry, has been making significant strides in her career. Since June 2023, she has been serving as a Pharmacy Technician at Centene Corporation, demonstrating her expertise and commitment to providing top-notch pharmaceutical care.

In addition to her role at Centene Corporation, Akasha has been serving as a Pharmacy Intern at Walgreens since March 2022, where she has honed her skills and gained valuable experience in a retail pharmacy setting. Her passion for pharmacy and commitment to patient care have been evident throughout her work, earning her recognition as a rising star in the field.

Prior to her current positions, Akasha served as a laboratory manager of molecular epidemiology in Little Rock, Arkansas, from December 2020 to September 2022. Her experience in managing laboratory operations and conducting research has equipped her with a strong foundation in the scientific aspects of the pharmaceutical industry.

Akasha’s journey in the field of pharmacy began with her pursuit of an Associate’s Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences at the University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College, where she excelled and achieved a Grade B. Building on her academic success, she enrolled at Harding University to pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree, where she is expected to graduate in May 2026.
