Accomplished Physician Brings Expertise in Sports Medicine and Family Medicine to North Olmsted, Ohio

Dr. Jaffer Babaa, a highly skilled sports medicine physician, can be found on staff at UH Westshore Primary Care - University Hospitals in North Olmsted, Ohio. He brings a wealth of experience in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, educating individuals on injury prevention, and supervising rehabilitation programs for athletes. His specialized expertise also includes performing procedures such as intra-articular injections, diagnostic ultrasound, and percutaneous needle tenotomy.

Dr. Babaa’s academic journey is marked by excellence and dedication to the field of medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of South Florida in 2010, followed by a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health from Cleveland State University in 2014. In 2015, he completed his Master of Science Degree in Health at Cleveland State University, culminating in the achievement of his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine at Ohio University in 2019.

From 2019 to 2022, Dr. Babaa served as a resident in family medicine at University Hospitals in Cleveland. Following this, from 2022 to 2023, he pursued a primary care sports medicine fellowship at UH Cleveland Medical Center.

Board certified in both family medicine and sports medicine, Dr. Babaa is a Diplomate of the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians, upholding the highest standards of medical care. He continues to enhance his knowledge and skills through active membership in prestigious medical organizations such as the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Babaa enjoys a variety of hobbies including swimming, fishing, playing soccer, and engaging in recreational/organic gardening.
