    Depending on the severity of the arthritis in your ankle, there may always be some level of discomfort within the joint. However, Chiropractic, massage, physical therapy, and having nutritious eating habits can assist with the pain. For physical therapy we would work on improving the joint's mobility and overall strength, not just at the ankle but the knees and hips as this can take pressure off the ankle. Sitting in an elevated chair or in your bed, you can do gentle ankle circles to help stretch and mobilize the joint. Be sure to not push through the pain as this should be a comfortable activity.
